23 February 2006 Website launched to share pet insurance tips
A new website has been set up to encourage the sharing of information and ideas on pet care. Pet Vet-Talks, an online community section of the website www.petsbest.com will feature a blog by Dr Jack Stephens discussing topics such as pet care and pet insurance.
"The community site will share pet news and important pet information," commented Dr Stephens, who founded the Pets Best insurance company.
"And there will be a section for like-minded animal lovers to post pet photos and stories as a way to share and inform others on the wonderful value of pets to us as individuals and to society as a whole," said Dr Stephens.
Scientific studies which examine the relationship between animals and their owners will also be discussed, including the mental, physical and emotional benefits that owning a pet can bring.
Dr Stephens maintains that as an avid pet fan and the founder of a pet insurance company, he is in an ideal position to offer advice on cat and dog insurance.
