01 October 2005 Technology offers pet health scans
A new pet health service has been unveiled that will give pet owners access to an advanced, computerised health scan. The service, which is offered by www.pethealthtest.com, takes an electronic scan of the pet to determine its health condition.
It can detect ailments such as skeletal problems like arthritis, digestive troubles and stress and depression in your pet.
The advanced computer technology, which also uses a sample of the pet's hair or a nail clipping, uses radionics, first used to discover human diseases.
The fact that your pet can suffer in similar ways to humans will increase pet owners awareness of looking after their pets, and shows the value of taking out pet insurance.
The screening procedure can also identify food allergies, as well as pick up on vitamin or mineral deficiencies.
Pets such as dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, parrots, ponies and horses can all benefit from the scanning.
