08 September 2005  Owners tickled pink by pet cat
A couple from Devon have been left amazed and confused after their pet cat remarkably turned from white to pink at the weekend.

Philip and Joan Worth are the owners of nine-year-old Brumas, who went out for a walk near their home in Bratton Clovelly.

When he returned, his fur had turned from snow white to pink.

The worried couple took Brumas to their vet who could neither find anything wrong with the cat, nor conjure up an explanation for his change in appearance.

Mrs Worth said: "We went to the vet on Saturday, but they couldn't find any reason for it, although they decided it wasn't toxic, which was what I was worried about.

"He seems fine, he's eating well and the other cats aren't terribly bothered."

The couple have five other pet cats, but none of them have suffered any similar change in colour.
